Doors and windows are an important part of home space. In addition to ventilation, doors and windows can also play an unexpected decorative effect, making the whole house different in style. But you know what? In the process of decoration, the installation of doors and windows will directly affect the safety and comfort of home life in the future. Now, let's take a look at the professional construction methods and installation standards of system doors and windows!

Measurement of door and window openings

The measurement of door and window opening size provides basic data for the design and manufacture of doors and windows, and is ultimately related to the installation effect and quality assurance of doors and windows. According to the type of opening, the measurement of door and window opening can be divided into ordinary opening measurement and special-shaped opening measurement.

1. Measurement of ordinary openings

The door and window opening size mainly measures the height and width of the door opening and the access position of the left and right doors and windows. Because the wall is uneven or not straight, the phenomenon of "different point positions and different measurement results" often occurs in the actual measurement. Therefore, we should pay attention to multi-point measurement and measure accurate data in combination with the actual situation.

The actual operation shall be based on the horizontal and vertical installation of doors and windows in the hole. Due to the horizontal and vertical deviation of the opening during construction, it is necessary to find out the minimum horizontal width and minimum vertical height of the opening with tape, plumb bob and other tools during measurement; At least 3 measuring points shall be recorded and the minimum value shall prevail. For irregular or seriously deviated openings, the openings shall be trimmed and re measured after the completion of the hole trimming.

The selection of measurement points at the opening shall be a relatively flat surface as far as possible, and there are obvious convex points or concave points, which will seriously affect the measurement results.

2. Measurement of corner window

When measuring the corner window opening, the height measurement is basically the same as that of the conventional opening, but there is an obvious difference between the outer edge width (w1w2) and the inner edge width (w3w4). Generally speaking, the measurement width is subject to the outer edge size: when measuring in the front, measure the distance from the outer corner of the balcony top to the outer wall, and record it as W1; During side measurement, measure the distance from the outer corner of the balcony top surface to the outer wall, and record it as W2; After measuring the width of W1 and W2, the thickness of windowsill or wall body must also be measured. Because the thickness of the wall body, the selection of product series and the accurate installation position of the product will affect the width of the finished product.

3. Measurement of curved window

As shown in the figure, first measure the chord length and arc height, and then divide the chord length into several parts. Mark the corresponding points 1, 2 and 3 on AB, measure the dimensions of A1, A2 and A3 first, and then measure the dimensions of C1, D2 and E3 (ensure that C1, D2 and E3 are perpendicular to ab during measurement). After several groups of measurement data are recorded, draw on the computer or drawing. According to the measured points c, D and E, draw the arc hole size with a smooth curve. The more equal the chord length is, the more accurate the drawn hole size is (in addition to the above methods, you can also draw lines on the hole with paper cover, draw the outline of the hole, and then measure the corresponding size from the paper cover).

Installation of doors and windows on the wall

The installation of doors and windows on the wall is an important part of the installation of finished products. It plays a very key role in the use and future maintenance of doors and windows. Therefore, it needs to be operated by professionals with rich installation experience. The installation of doors and windows can be divided into dry installation and wet installation according to different project requirements.

1. Dry installation (steel sub frame installation)

a. The steel sub frame shall be embedded in the blank opening. After the steel sub frame is leveled on the wall, the gap between the attached frame and the opening shall be filled with waterproof mortar. The gap between the sub frame and the opening shall be reserved for 20-25mm. After the sub frame is fixed, the waterproof coating shall be applied between the sub frame outside the room and the opening;

b. After the steel sub frame is on the wall, indoor and outdoor decoration can be carried out, and the finished surface shall be subject to the surface of the steel sub frame;

c. After the indoor and outdoor decoration is completed, the door and window frame shall be put on the wall. Before the window frame is put on the wall, protective treatment must be done to prevent the doors and windows from being polluted or scratched. The gap between the door and window frame and the steel sub frame shall be more than 6mm. Before the door and window frame is fixedly connected with the steel auxiliary frame, the level must be marked with a level gauge. The level of the window frame can be adjusted through the frame adjusting piece. After the level is marked, it can be directly connected and fixed with the steel auxiliary frame;

d. After the door and window frame is fixed, the gap between the window frame and the steel sub frame shall be filled with polyurethane foaming agent, and then the weather resistant sealant shall be applied on the indoor and outdoor sides of the window frame, so that the installation of doors and windows on the wall is basically completed.

2. Wet installation (fixing piece installation)

The biggest difference between wet installation and dry installation: for wet installation, the window frame must be on the wall before wet operation, while for dry installation, it can be on the wall after indoor and outdoor decoration.

a. The protective film on the doors and windows shall not be torn off before and after the window frame is sleeved into the blank hole, so as to avoid damage to the doors and windows in the later construction; Use wood cushion blocks to adjust the gap between the window and the wall, the gap between the window frame and the opening is 20-25mm, and fix the window frame after leveling;

b. After fixing the window frame, waterproof treatment is required: fill the waterproof mortar between the window frame and the wall. After filling the mortar to stabilize the window frame, remove the wooden cushion block. Then apply waterproof paint between the window frame of the outer wall and the wall;

c. After waterproof treatment, indoor and outdoor decoration can be done. Before indoor and outdoor decoration, doors and windows should be protected to prevent pollution and scratch. This step is particularly important during wet installation.
